What do we make of machines that talk?
As the idea of conversational interfaces increasingly gets adopted and normalized in our daily lives and mundane tasks, let’s take a step back and think about what it takes to ‘design a conversation’. The workshop intends to reflect and speculates on the future of vocal and text-based interfaces, approaching them from a critical and philosophical lens and meandering into the spaces of design fiction. A discursive format will allow free range discussions and exercises to unpack the nuances of machines that talk!
